Lead Edge Platform Engineer – Distributed Systems

Rowden is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to tackle hard distributed systems problems at the edge. You will design and operate containerised platforms and orchestration systems in environments with disrupted connectivity and limited central control.

The role emphasizes declarative workload intent, local orchestration decisions, and robust abstractions that let application teams deploy workloads securely without deep orchestration knowledge. Hybrid on-site Bristol HQ presence is required.
