Associate Sales Director – Retail, CPG

Associate Engagement Manager / Associate Director – Sales & Client Relationship Management – Retail, Consumer Goods domain – London

Compensation: Competitive (including bonus)

What will you do?

• Contribute to all phases of the sales lifecycle, focusing on client relationship management and business development.
• Build and execute a sales plan, pursuit strategy, and business pipeline, collaborating with leadership to convert the pipeline and achieve targets.
• Maintain relationships with key client personnel, CXOs and CXO‑1s, demonstrating an understanding of the client’s organizational culture.
• Present and sell concepts to the client, influencing award decisions based on capability and track record.
• Conduct research and competitor analysis to shape strategies that support favorable outcomes.
• Apply expert knowledge of MSAs and other contract processes, understanding their nuances and interdependencies across the business.
• Deliver client presentations, workshops, and drive pricing decisions (e.g., gain‑share models, alternative sourcing models).
• Provide input for building alliances with relevant product/service vendors.

Qualifications

• Track‑record of successfully farming business solutions and client management in Retail, Consumer Goods, or Logistics domains (preferred).
• Strong business development, relationship management, and account management experience (8‑15 years preferred).
• Experience growing existing accounts and managing large multi‑location consulting engagement teams.
• Ability to interact with and build relationships with C / C‑1 level client contacts.
• Reasonable understanding of the Global Delivery Model and IT service industry.
• Hands‑on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
