Job Description
Fabricator Welder – permanent full‑time position based at Andover, Pioneer Road. Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 16:45.
As a Fabricator Welder you will join metal using MAG welding to create finished products. You will cut and weld materials according to technical drawings created by our Rail Design Team. Your role is essential for ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards before moving to the next production stage.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret product drawings to complete jobs within specifications.
- Deliver high‑quality products while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Work flexibly within a team environment to meet business needs.
- Ensure excellent housekeeping and compliance with safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Skilled in welding, polishing, and working with fine tolerances.
- Experience with Oxy‑Acetylene heating equipment and digital bevel gauges.
- Strong commitment to a right‑first‑time (RFT) ethos and continuous improvement.
Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder or Welder in a similar role is required.
