Job Title: Fabricator / Pipe Fitter

Location: Corby

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary

£16.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Flexibility is required, as occasional extended hours and overnight stays may be necessary.

Additional Compensation

• Overnight allowance: £25 per night
• On-call rota: Once every 8 weeks, with an additional £100 payment

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install a variety of pipework systems.
• Carry out TIG and/or MIG welding to a high standard.
• Complete off-site installation and fitting work using a company vehicle.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and quality standards.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Be flexible to work additional hours and stay away overnight when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fabricator / Pipe Fitter.
• Essential experience in TIG and/or MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours and overnight travel.
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company vehicle).
