Kinship Social Worker – Family Carer Support & Assessments

Northumberland County Council’s Family Placement Service is seeking a Kinship Social Worker for the Kinship Team (37 hours per week). This fixed-term 12-month post requires an experienced social worker with at least one year post-qualifying experience in statutory social work.

You will assess kinship carers, complete viability assessments, support permanency planning, and contribute to training. The role sits in a supportive multi-disciplinary team with supervision, flexible and hybrid working.
