Job Description:
Somerset Council is recruiting a Rough Sleeper Specialist Social Worker (Adults) to work across East Somerset, based at Shepton Mallet or Glastonbury offices. This 18-month fixed-term role will support long-term rough sleepers with complex needs, applying Care Act and safeguarding principles.
You will carry a small caseload, conduct Care Act and Mental Capacity assessments, collaborate with housing, health and voluntary partners, and advocate for dignity and independence.
