We’re looking for caring, committed individuals to support people with learning disabilities within our busy service. You’ll help with daily tasks, personal care, medication, and activities—making a real difference every day.

Qualities and Skills Required:

  • Relationship Building: Essential for gaining the trust of the people we support, establishing open communication, and building lasting relationships.
  • Patience and Understanding: Important for navigating challenging situations effectively.
  • Conflict-Resolution Techniques: Necessary for managing and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.

What we’re looking for:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Experience within care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
  • People who enjoy interactivity with the people we support.

Contract options:

Part time (25 hours per week)

Shifts:

  • Between 08:30-21:00 (varied shifts)
  • One sleep in shift required per week and paid at a flat rate of £64.20
  • Must be flexible to cover weekends on a rota basis

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

£25,577 per annum, pro‑rata + excellent benefits

£28,706 – £31,003 per annum (dependent on qualifications)
