Dry Ice Technician/ production worker

Full‑Time Job Opportunity

Carbon Capture Scotland – based near Crocketford / Haugh of Urr – offers a great opportunity to join our current team of Dry Ice Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Opening/closing of the factory
• Day‑to‑day production/packing of Dry Ice
• Logging and labelling production ready for collection
• Carrying out quality checks as required
• Loading/unloading of wagons
• Ensuring the yard and workshop are clean and tidy, amongst other odd jobs
• Maintenance of machines
• Some computer work (manning chats/updating order system for holiday cover)

Requirements

• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Have good organisational skills
• Be able to follow H&S instructions
• Forklift licence an advantage, but training will be given to the right candidate
• Due to our rural location a driving licence is essential

The factory is open 7 days per week, 365 days per year. The shift pattern on offer is 4 days on and 4 days off, 12‑hour shifts currently 7 am to 7 pm. Salary and holidays will be advised at point of interview.
