What will you be doing?

• Performs a variety of general maintenance and repair to equipment and/or buildings at an assigned facility(s).
• May be required to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical control and mechanical repair on forklifts, and other related automated warehouse equipment.
• May troubleshoot, repair and/or replace electrical equipment, switches, fixtures, lighting, and wiring.
• May inspect electrical equipment and wiring for hazards and make repairs as necessary.
• Completes and updates HVAC documentation, logbooks and maintenance schedules.
• Works with external contractors for work beyond role responsibilities.
• Manage and communicate with contractors when on site.
• Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
• Maintain and/or update electronic and/or hard copy records as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete required work.
• Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments across the business.
• Strong attention to detail.

Anything else you should know?

• May require standing for long periods of time; lifting up to 25 pounds frequently & 50 pounds occasionally; working at heights exceeding 15 feet; negotiating steps, stools and ladders; frequently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE); requires stand, bend, stoop, squat, twist; Power Industrial (PIT) certification; may need to be out in various inclement weather.
• You will be expected to be on call in this role. We have a 1 in 5 week call-out rota which covers our UK1 Distribution Centre & our Head Office site.
