MCERTS Flow Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow and Event Duration Monitoring (EDM) data is accurately reported to the Environment Agency (EA)
• Assist in MCERTS certification, working closely with operational teams and external inspectors
• Provide expert advice on flow measurement, event duration monitors, and wastewater processes
• Support the delivery of flow monitoring schemes under the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP)
• Maintain and improve the MCERTS management system and associated processes

Requirements

• A degree in science, engineering, or environmental studies (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in the utilities sector, preferably in water and wastewater
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, regulation, and permits
• Strong analytical skills and experience handling large data sets using Excel or similar tools
