Job Description:

Perhaps you are a Traffic Management Operative working for a contractor and looking to make a switch to the client for more stability and security?

Or perhaps you are looking to add to your TM experience, through expanding your skills and knowledge of fibre network build, including hands on engineering, splicing and testing?

Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will support our Build teams, taking CAD drawings and ensuring regulations are followed for Highway permits, temporary traffic lights, road closures and signing, etc for safe and compliant civil site set up.

The Traffic Management kit is stored at our office in Witham, so you would live locally for easy pick up and drop off using a 7.5 ton flat-bed truck.

Knowledge & Skills

An experienced and qualified Traffic Management Operative

Fibre and / or Telecoms build or repair experience desirable

Strong knowledge of highways legislation, including working from CAD drawings and permit conditions

Previous knowledge and experience in the field Civils specifications desirable – eg NRSWA

Previous experience of delivery to pre-defined project schedules

Able to understand, interpret and adhere to risk & method assessments.

Qualifications & Accreditations

Full driving licence (manual)

DBS check (or ability to pass)

NRSWA and Lantra M1/M2
