Job Description:
Biffa Group in Carlisle is seeking a Control Room Operator to manage the flow and processing of waste using remote control overhead gantry cranes and refining equipment. You will lead continuous improvement efforts, implement best practices and maintain detailed records of plant operations, settings and stoppages to minimise downtime.
Three-shift rotation is in place (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) with overtime paid at 1.5x.
