Working within a diverse manufacturing environment, you’ll maintain and improve a combination of automated production machinery and industrial plant, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
The Role:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Maintain a range of automated manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and performance.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
About You
- Experience working as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing.
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Comfortable working on automated production equipment as well as industrial machinery.
- A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent) are desirable.
