Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Security and Fire Officer to join our Security Team. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure a safe, secure environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors across a varied and historic site. You will have strong situational awareness and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine security and fire safety checks
- Log incidents and monitor fire safety systems
- Escort visitors as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Security experience is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of health and safety and fire safety practices is essential
- Professional, approachable, with excellent customer service and communication skills
Working Arrangements
The role is full-time and requires flexibility to work shifts between 07:00 and 23:00, Monday to Friday, and 07:00 to 19:00 on Saturdays, as well as attending key School events. Full-time hours are 40 per week, across 52 weeks of the year.
