Salary: £29,500 – £33,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
Holiday: 25 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays
On-Call: 1 in 6 Rota (£125 Standby Payment)

£29,500 Basic Salary
37.5 Hours Per Week
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Static Site
1 in 6 On-Call Rota (£125 Standby Payment)
Position 2 – CV7
£33,000 Basic Salary
40 Hours Per Week
Rotating Shifts:
6:00am – 2:30pm
1:30pm – 10:00pm

Fabric Technician Jobs in Coventry

We are recruiting for two Static Fabric Technician positions based at commercial sites in Coventry. These permanent opportunities offer excellent work-life balance, long-term job security, and the chance to join an established Facilities Management team.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive building fabric repairs
Complete general maintenance tasks including:
Basic carpentry
Door repairs and adjustments
Lock and ironmongery repairs
Ceiling and flooring repairs
Painting and decorating
Basic plumbing repairs
Patch plastering and making good
General building maintenance
Respond to reactive maintenance requests
Complete maintenance reports using CAFM systems
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high site standards
Requirements
Previous experience as a Fabric Technician, Handyperson, Maintenance Operative, Building Maintenance Technician, Caretaker, or Multi-Skilled Operative
Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Commercial Property, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, or Industrial environments
Good all-round building fabric maintenance skills
Basic plumbing and carpentry experience
Good communication and organisational skills
