Generic Adults Social Worker

Our client Oldham Council is looking for a Generic Adults Social Worker to join their service.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing Care Act Assessments and reviews.
• Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs) and best‑interest decision‑making processes.
• Completing and reviewing risk assessments and risk management plans.
• Managing complex casework, including coordination with multi‑agency professionals and services.
• Responding to and investigating safeguarding concerns in line with statutory duties and local safeguarding procedures.
• Maintaining accurate and timely case records and reports.
• Working collaboratively with service users, carers, colleagues, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
