Maintenance Assistant (Grounds)

The Estates Department is looking for a Maintenance Assistant with a background preferably gained in grounds maintenance working in a building services or healthcare environment to join the Maintenance Team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out grounds maintenance works to ensure a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
• Ensuring the site is kept clean and clear of litter, maintaining internal courtyards, and assisting Environment Operatives with external grounds/garden maintenance.
• Undertaking maintenance within the hospital environment, completing planned maintenance dockets and defect dockets.
• Assisting with other building-related tasks including mechanical and electrical building services in plant rooms and ward areas.

Qualifications

Background preferably gained in grounds maintenance working in a building services or healthcare environment.
