Class 2 Driver – Quedgeley | Temporary Ad Hoc Work | £17.00 per hour (Advanced PAYE)

Our Quedgeley-based client is looking for professional Class 2 / Cat C Drivers to join their team on a temporary ad hoc basis.

This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible work, whether you’re seeking to fit shifts around other commitments or simply prefer a varied schedule. Shifts are offered as and when required, with work available throughout the week.

Pay Rate

• £17.00 per hour (Advanced PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay)
• Paid weekly

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Typical start time: 4:00am
• Finish times generally between 2:00pm and 5:00pm
• Shifts available on an ad hoc basis to suit business needs

The Role

• Delivering between 1-6 drops per shift
• Using a handheld scanner and mobile device to complete vehicle checks and delivery confirmations
• Predominantly forklift offload deliveries, with occasional light manual handling
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 / Category C Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year’s proven Class 2 driving experience
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
