Vacancy: Fashion and Textiles Technician (Term-Time)
Hours: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum.
Salary: Up to £20,518 per annum (£24,523 FTE).
Organization: Chelmsford College.

We are seeking a dynamic, confident and skilled creative person, who is passionate about young people and has good technical abilities in creative production. You will support the delivery of bespoke programmes across the department, inspire, encourage, and help advance young people by managing equipment and supporting sessions that improve their personal and professional skills, using creative production as an engagement tool.
You will lead in managing Fashion and Textiles equipment and materials, communicating with the Curriculum Team to support planning, implementing, and delivering lessons, ensuring that they are delivered effectively to achieve maximum impact. In addition you will support students and coach them to produce content for live client briefs and run exhibitions.
You Will
- Proficiently use a sewing machine
- Use Microsoft Office suite
- Have experience of fashion & textiles processes
