Class 2 HIAB Driver – Builders Merchants

Location: Leicestershire

Pay Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of a well‑established and reputable Builders Merchant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer‑focused driver looking for regular work with a respected company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering building materials to residential and commercial sites.
• Operating a HIAB crane safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading products using the HIAB.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid HIAB certification (Brick Grab and Remote preferred).
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience within builders merchants or construction deliveries is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
