About the Opportunity

At Story Homes, we’re passionate about delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer service. Our Aftercare Team plays a vital role in supporting homeowners once they have moved into their new home, ensuring any queries or issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll gain valuable hands‑on experience while working towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification. You’ll receive support from experienced colleagues and develop the skills needed for a successful career in business administration and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide administrative support to the Aftercare Team.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Log customer requests and maintain accurate records using internal systems.
  • Schedule appointments for Aftercare Coordinators and Technicians.
  • Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other business documentation.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Support the team with general office administration, including scanning, filing, and data entry.
  • Attend training sessions and work towards completing your apprenticeship qualification.
  • Contribute positively to the business while delivering excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (or a willingness to learn)
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work as part of a team
  • A professional and customer-focused approach
  • An interest in business administration and delivering excellent customer service.
