Electrical Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building ServicesEngineer with a strong electrical bias to join a well-established and growing facilities management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to workin a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of building services systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial building installations.
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and other electrical infrastructure.
• Support the maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, and general building services equipment where required.
• Complete inspections, testing, and compliance checks in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
• Accurately record work completed using maintenance management systems and documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Participate in an on-call rota where applicable.

Candidate Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification preferred.
• Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with electrical systems.
