You will be required to perform pro-active and reactive maintenance on electro-mechanical processing and packaging machinery therefore a multi skilled engineering background is essential. Having an electrical bias is essential to be successful in this role, working primarily in the Deeside manufacturing facility working with an experienced team.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
- Craft technician qualifications in an appropriate Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Time Served Apprentice
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- ONC/HNC/NVQ Level 3 Engineering and Maintenance
- Experience of processing, packaging machines
- PLC and inspection camera system knowledge (Desirable)
- 18th Edition wiring regulations (Desirable)
Required
Production or Process Maintenance Engineering experience in a complex manufacturing organization within fast-paced manufacturing environments
Demonstrated ability to analyse technical problems, develop appropriate solutions and implement those solutions through effective business plans
Ability to work to engineering drawings but also have the ability to fault find and diagnose faults without using engineering drawings.
Carry out regular maintenance, PPMs and reactive, where directed
Troubleshoot breakdowns across a range of equipment to provide minimal downtime
Maintain documentation to provide historical records of breakdowns and PPMs
Identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels as needed
Identify and implement productivity and continuous improvements to enhance machine/process performance, and to improve business efficiencies.
Shift Pattern
39 hours, Mon – Fri (opportunity to finish early on Friday)
Week 1 – 2pm to 10pm
Week 2 – 6am to 2pm
