Container Transport Planner Location – Felixstowe Salary- 45,000 – 50,000 + Company Car
We’re supporting a well-established haulage business looking for an experienced Container Transport Planner to join their transport team. This is a key role within a fast-paced operation, ideal for someone confident in container logistics and daily planning.
The Role:You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating around 50+ container vehicles across the fleet, ensuring efficient utilisation, on-time performance, and clear communication with drivers and customers. You’ll use TOPS daily to manage workloads and respond quickly to operational changes.
Requirements:Previous container planning experience (essential)Strong working knowledge of TOPS (essential)Background in haulage / container transport operationsSolid understanding of UK WTD lawsAbility to work under pressure in a busy environmentStrong communication and organisational skills
