We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background to join a major infrastructure project based across Argyll & Bute.
This role will involve overseeing multiple live sites delivering works including:
Overhead line (OHL) infrastructureUnderground cablingBridges and structures
Key Responsibilities– Manage day-to-day operations across multiple civil engineering sites.– Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.– Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders.– Monitor progress, programme, and site performance.– Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.– Produce site reports and ensure project documentation is completed accurately.
Candidate Requirements– Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering.– Strong civil engineering project experience is essential.– Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Civil Engineer would be advantageous, but is not essential.– Experience delivering infrastructure projects such as utilities, bridges, structures, or similar civil works.– Comfortable managing multiple sites simultaneously.– Willingness to work away from home is essential.
