Labourer

General Labourer 

Connect Grp UK Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client at the Royal University Hospital in Orpington. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on labourer with experience in general labouring within the construction industry, particularly with a background in working for main contractors. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting ongoing carpentry projects and ensuring a smooth workflow on site.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a General Labourer within the construction sector, ideally with experience working alongside carpenters or in carpentry-related projects.
• Background working with main contractors is preferred.
• Reliable and physically fit, capable of handling manual labour tasks on site.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to construction sites in the UK.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• CSCS card

Responsibilities:

• Assisting carpenters and other trades by providing labouring support on site.
• Loading and unloading construction materials and tools as required.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• Assisting with the preparation and Organisation of site resources and equipment.
• Supporting the overall progress of projects by completing allocated tasks efficiently and effectively.
