Technical Machine Operator
Location: New MillsJob Type: Temporary to PermanentPay Rate: 13.10 per hour + 1.86 per hour shift allowance
We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the New Mills area for an experienced Technical Machine Operator. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established manufacturer offering long-term career prospects.
Working Hours
Week 1
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
Week 2
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
This is a rotating two-week shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate and monitor production machinery.
Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report faults when required.
Complete production documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
A consistent work history within a production or manufacturing environment is essential.
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
Strong technical aptitude and mechanical awareness.
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shifts.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
