Job Description:

Role – MFD / Photocopier Field Service Engineer  Location – Lancashire / North West    I’m recruiting on behalf of a premium, well established print and document solutions dealer . Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring an experienced Field Service Engineer into the team.   The Role

  • Service, maintain, and repair photocopiers, printers, and MFDs
  • Install and commission new devices at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network faults
  • Configure devices including print drivers, scanning, and connectivity
  • Set up scan‑to‑email, scan‑to‑folder, and print workflows
  • Maintain service records and deliver excellent customer support

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Photocopier / Printer Field Service Engineer
  • Strong fault‑finding ability (mechanical, electrical, IT)
  • Good understanding of IT systems including:
    • Windows environments
    • TCP/IP networking
    • Print drivers and print servers
  • Experience with leading brands (Canon, Ricoh, Kyocera etc.)
  • Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of uniFLOW, PaperCut or similar print management software
