Site Agent – Highways/Civils
Location: Bath City Centre Rate: 450 per day (CIS) Start Date: ASAP Interviews: Immediate Contractor: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor We are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highway improvement scheme in Bath City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile highways project involving new footway construction, drainage and ducting works, working closely with the client and managing site operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site team to deliver works safely, on programme and to a high standard.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities.
- Conduct daily site briefings and ensure workforce engagement.
- Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
- Monitor work progress, quality and productivity.
- Attend weekly client progress meetings.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, subcontractors and the wider project team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor within the civil engineering or highways sector.
- Strong background in highways, drainage and infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of NEC contracts.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
