Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and products using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction of products
  • Inspect assembled parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor assembly issues and perform adjustments as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Assist in the loading, unloading, and movement of materials within the warehouse or production area as required

Experience

  • Proven experience in assembly work within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of how various components fit together effectively
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
  • Ability to read technical drawings or diagrams is beneficial but not mandatory
