Overview
Site Manager – Permanent role based in Plymouth. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead an upcoming project in Plymouth on a design & build scheme. The initial phase will refurbish an industrial building, followed by a new build. The Site Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the project, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage both refurbishment and new build elements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and the wider supply chain
- Ensure health and safety compliance across site
- Maintain excellent communication with the client, with the project based on an active client premises
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment and new build projects
- Strong technical and construction knowledge, particularly within design & build contracts
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage client relationships effectively in a live environment
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery
Project Timeline
The project is expected to commence around June, with flexibility to bring the right candidate on board earlier to assist with pre-construction and mobilisation.
Offering
Salary circa £52,000 plus £7,000 car allowance, pension: 5%, and all workwear and IT provided.
