Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails (Mid & Senior roles) – 4‑day week – Fridays in Brighton
We are looking for mid‑level and senior Ruby on Rails engineers to join a small, dynamic team. You will primarily work remotely, with mandatory Friday presence at our Brighton office.
Company
The team comprises a CTO, product‑oriented CEO, a designer, a front‑end engineer, a back‑end engineer, and three mid‑level full‑stack engineers, with a total size of about 15 people.
Work arrangement
Company‑wide 4‑day work week (no pro‑rated pay) with Fridays mandatory on site.
Salary
£50,000 for mid level and £70,000 for senior level, with flexibility for the right experience.
Responsibilities
You will have strong ownership of features, bring a product mindset to your work, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
• Strong Ruby on Rails experience• Ability to work independently with remote collaboration tools• Experience in full‑stack development within the Rails ecosystem
