Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer/SRE – UK Defense

Triumphant Nerd is partnering with one of the world’s most innovative defense technology companies to hire Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers supporting mission‑critical platforms used across UK government programs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own the reliability and performance of critical production infrastructure
• Build automation that eliminates manual operational work
• Partner with engineering teams to design scalable, resilient systems
• Deploy and support software in secure, high‑impact environments
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and continuously improve platform stability
• Leverage modern tooling, including Kubernetes, AI, and cloud technologies

We’re Looking For:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• Experience supporting production systems at scale
• A passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement
• Kubernetes experience is a plus
• UK Security Clearance (SC+) or the ability to obtain it
