Job Title: Senior Internal Audit Analyst
As a Senior Internal Audit Analyst you will provide independent and objective assurance to senior management, the Board, and the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of Bupa’s risk management, control, and governance processes. You will support Bupa in achieving its strategic goals by evaluating and improving these processes, undertake special project work as agreed, and act as an internal consultant with specialist knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and delivery of assurance work across Bupa’s businesses, suggesting changes to reduce risk and cost.
- Identify control weaknesses, recommend improvement, and provide high‑standard findings.
- Deliver high‑quality audit reports to management with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Assist in developing annual audit plans and advising the business on audit matters.
- Prepare audit papers, reports, and present audit programs to stakeholders.
- Supervise analysts on individual audits, providing support and reviewing their work.
- Improve audit delivery efficiency through process enhancements.
- Embed data analytics in audits when appropriate and use data visuals in reporting.
- Continuously improve personal performance through self‑assessment, training, and goal setting.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, PIIA, CMIIA, or equivalent overseas qualification.
- Sound knowledge of risk management, audit principles, and audit methodology.
- Significant and diverse internal audit experience.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team on internal audit reviews.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
