Cataract Care Optical Assistant — 12-Month Contract

SpaMedica, the UK’s largest provider of NHS cataract surgery, is seeking an Optical Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract based at Wirral sites (St Catherine’s Health Centre, Church Road, Birkenhead). The role is full-time (37.5 hours across 4 days in 6, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM) with a salary of £25,000.

You will support clinical governance, work with optometrists, run clinics, assist in theatre settings, and manage equipment and stock while maintaining patient confidentiality and high standards
