Overview

Live-in Care Assistant. Starting at £896 per week. We are looking for someone with a kind, compassionate heart who wants to make a real difference to the quality of life for our clients. Join our team as a Live-In Carer.

Responsibilities

  • Live in a client’s home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them stay independent
  • Maintain the client’s quality of life, document notes related to the client, and maintain regular contact with the Care Manager
  • Demonstrate reliability, trustworthiness and respect; build professional relationships and be comfortable in spending time with others
  • Maintain positive relationships with the client and their family
  • Provide care as outlined by the client; examples include Bathing & personal grooming, Companionship, Mobility support, Keeping the client active, Light housework, Meal preparation and monitoring of diet, Administering medication, Running errands, Toilet and continence care, trips out of the house
  • Provide round-the-clock care within the client’s home; primary responsibility is enabling the client to live life to the full in their own home

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a care setting or similar role
  • Kind, compassionate, and patient attitude with a desire to make a difference
