Maintenance/Grounds Staff/Driver

Overview

Up to £27,694 + excellent benefits. Westmorland School is seeking a Maintenance Worker to help keep the building safe, welcoming and well maintained for our pupils.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general day-to-day repairs to keep the school running smoothly.
• Drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order.
• Maintain the school grounds and garden to a neat and tidy standard.
• Be a familiar, friendly face to pupils and participate in safeguarding training as required.

Requirements

• Have maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Demonstrate a can‑do attitude and be a team player who is happy to help others.
• Be confident taking responsibility for buying smaller pieces of maintenance equipment.
• Willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.
