The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll work across a variety of commercial sites including nursing homes, healthcare facilities and other commercial premises throughout Essex and the surrounding areas.
Your work will primarily involve:
- Servicing and repairing commercial heating systems (approximately 85% of the role)
- Working on domestic boilers within commercial environments
- Cascade boiler systems
- Unvented hot water cylinders and element replacements
- Occasional commissioning work
- Combi boiler replacements
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining high engineering standards
Area Covered
You’ll ideally live within the Essex area and cover sites across:
- Essex
- Waltham Cross
- East London
- Dartford
- Occasional visits to Norwich
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ Commercial Gas and/or HVAC experience
- Valid Commercial ACS qualifications
- Strong fault-finding and servicing experience
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Full UK Driving Licence
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:00pm (onsite for 9:00am)
- Optional overtime available, paid at management discretion based on weekly hours worked
Salary & Benefits
- 55,000 – 60,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
