Production Scheduler
Our client, a growing food manufacturing business based in Craigavon, is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will coordinate production schedules, ensure customer demand is met, and support the day-to-day running of manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business in a key planning role.
The Production Scheduler will be responsible for:
- Creating and maintaining production schedules to maximise efficiency, minimise downtime, and support on-time customer delivery.
- Managing production forecasts, schedules, stock levels, and capacity planning using ERP/MRP systems.
- Monitoring raw materials, BOMs, inventory, and goods out to ensure smooth production flow.
- Analysing forecast versus sales data and producing reports to support planning decisions.
- Liaising with production and other departments to coordinate daily operations and resolve any scheduling issues.
- Optimising production schedules, including allergen management and reducing unnecessary changeovers.
What you will need to have for the Production Scheduler role:
- Experience working in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using ERP/MRP or computerised stock control systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
