• Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients
• HPE Aruba certified to Associate level
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-S Switches
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-8 WLAN
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-CX Switches
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-10 WLAN
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba Central
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba ClearPass
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba SD-WAN
• Desirable: Traditional Cisco WAN
• Desirable: Traditional Cisco LAN
• Desirable: Cisco Wireless
• Desirable: Cisco SDA

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Voice, Network, Wireless and Security solutions across multiple vendors and technologies
• Translate high-level designs into low-level detail at the post-sale stage
• Implement solutions and carry out thorough testing before handover to support or managed service teams
• Lead wider Technical Designers through solutions and drive work to completion
• Keep the customer at the heart of everything we do
• Translate technical and business perspectives and communicate them effectively to others

We are seeking an Aruba Network Designer based in Bristol or Manchester, working three days in the office and two days from home. We offer a salary of £70,000 to £75,000 plus a 10% on-target annual bonus. Our team leads the way in implementing complex Voice, Network, Wireless and Security solutions across a wide range of vendors, including Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba and Microsoft, using technologies such as SD-WAN, SD-A, ISE, ACI, Webex, MS Teams and next-generation firewalls. We are focused on taking solutions from high-level design through implementation, testing and handover, with the customer at the heart of everything we do. Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance.
