Fire & Security Service Engineer (Subcontract) – Scotland Central Belt
£33.00 – £35.00 per Hour | Outside IR35 | Weekly Pay Every Friday | Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start Available
Scope of Work
The successful engineer will be responsible for:
- Servicing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive repairs
- Planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
- Small remedial works and system upgrades
- Completing service reports and associated documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements
- Providing a professional service to clients across commercial sites

- Central Belt and surrounding areas
Contract Details
- £33.00 – £35.00 per hour
- Outside IR35
- Weekly pay every Friday
- 5‑day working week
- Overtime available with enhanced rates
- Long‑term contract with consistent workload
- Immediate start available
Requirements
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and intercom systems
- ECS/CSCS card preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools and transport
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
