JOB TITLE: Commercial Gas Engineer PART TIME

LOCATION: Middx, Berks, Surrey and London

SALARY: £45K – £58k (dependent on qualifications and experience paid pro-rata) van, fuelcard, overtime

JOB INFORMATION – Commercial Gas Engineer / Mechanical Engineer PART TIME

Based from home and working on a mobile basis you would be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas systems and mechanical / plantroom maintenance. You would be responsible for carrying out PPM Schedules and meeting set KPI Targets covering high end apartment blocks (communal heating systems) and offices. 24 hour rota for emergency call out 1 in 7. 23 days annual leave. This role would suit someone looking for more of a work/life balance. My client is flexible and will take someone on 3 /4 days /week.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas systems and mechanical/plantroom maintenance.
  • Carry out PPM schedules and meet KPI targets for high-end apartment blocks (communal heating systems) and offices.
  • Work on a 24-hour rota for emergency call out (1 in 7).
  • Work flexibly in line with company needs (3–4 days per week may be considered).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Recognised industry qualifications including ACS tickets.
  • Good customer service skills, well-presented and articulate.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas systems and mechanical systems.
  • Experience of working on HVAC maintenance contracts is advantageous but not essential.
  • Motivated, trustworthy, a team player, loyal and reliable.
