Electrical Design Engineer in NR7, Sprowston, Norfolk

You’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle — from interpreting system requirements and designing power and control systems, to supporting prototyping, testing, and integration. It’s a hands‑on collaborative role with the opportunity to make a real impact.

The main elements of the role will include:

• Designing and developing electrical systems for high-performance defence platforms
• Producing detailed schematics, technical documentation, and supplier interface materials
• Supporting prototype builds, testing, and commissioning activities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration
• Ensuring all work meets required quality, safety, and industry standards

About the person:

• HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven experience in electrical design—particularly industrial wiring, control systems, and system interconnection
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Hands‑on experience with test equipment and prototype testing
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
