Senior Plant Engineering Manager – Offshore Transmission

SSE is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Offshore AC Project Engineering team within SSEN Transmissions to drive Island projects and deliver a network for Net Zero. You will lead senior plant engineers, coordinate design reviews, and ensure safety and TA approvals in line with regional strategy.

The role focuses on large capital projects (£100M–£1000M), with responsibility for engineering activities across the project lifecycle and interaction with Contractors and the Quality Team.
