## Network Coordinator
Shropshire | Hybrid Working15.31 per hour PAYE37 hours per week | Monday-FridayTemporary Contract – 3 Months
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Network Coordinator to join their Highways team on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused professional to support the coordination of works on the highway network, helping to minimise disruption and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
### Key Responsibilities
- Assess permit, licence and traffic management applications.
- Coordinate highway works to minimise congestion and maintain network safety.
- Liaise with utility companies, contractors and internal teams to ensure works are effectively planned and managed.
- Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and formal correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Support compliance activities, including identifying potential Section 74 overruns and Fixed Penalty Notice cases.
- Ensure activities are carried out in line with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004.
### About You
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.Able to work collaboratively within a busy team environment.Experience within highways, street works, permits or network coordination is desirable but not essential.A willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced service.
