Property (Clean Energy) Solicitor – Edinburgh/Glasgow

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a leading commercial law firm, for a junior property lawyer in its Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise developers, investors, and funders on projects within the clean energy sector, including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, and battery storage.
• Provide guidance on the real estate aspects of developments.
• Handle both transactional and advisory work related to clean energy real estate.

Qualifications and Experience

• Dual-qualified, ideally NQ-4 level PQE, with preference for applicants also qualified in Scots law; however applicants solely qualified in Scots law are also considered.
• Relevant real estate experience.
• Strong interest in clean energy transactions. Prior experience in clean energy preferred but not essential; training will be provided if necessary.

Location

Edinburgh or Glasgow office (clean energy real estate team).
