£24,000-£26,500 + training + benefits.
About the Role
UK wide Health and Safety Consultancy is looking for a Commercial Maintenance Operative to join their Northern team. The position does not require sector experience but expects previous work in a maintenance or manual role.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a daytime and overnight rota.
- Assist with maintenance on kitchen extraction and ventilation systems across hospitality, public sector buildings and hotels.
- Participate in training programmes to progress within the business.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior maintenance or manual work experience.
- Full driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a manual role, including at heights and confined spaces.
Location and Travel
Work will be based in the Yorkshire area. Planned stays away may be required. Suitable home locations include Leeds, Morley, Pudsey, Horsforth, Otley, Wakefield, Bradford, Shipley, Batley, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Castleford, Ossett and Tadcaster.
Progression
Successful completion of training allows progression to a supervisor role, after which a company van will be provided.
