Operating across corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors, it rents IT and AV equipment — including phones, tablets, laptops, graphics workstations, servers, screens, touchscreens, LED walls, projectors, printers, PA systems, and VR and AR headsets — together with associated peripherals.
The group is debt-free, with a clearly defined growth strategy, robust internal systems, and well-established business processes.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager (UK & Ireland) and based in Acton, this leadership role carries responsibility for managing two members of staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
– preparation of monthly financial accounts, forecasts, and management reports;– payment of salaries;– preparation of year-end accounts and reconciliations;– production of annual budgets and key performance indicators;– submission of tax and other statutory returns; and– managing, motivating, and maintaining clear communication with their team, department heads and the General Manager.
Essential Skills and Experience
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
– a chartered accountancy qualification with at least seven years' full-time post-qualification experience;– previous experience in a financial accountancy role;– strong computer literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail;– excellent written and verbal communication skills;– sound interpersonal, motivational, and presentation skills;– a proven track record of teamwork and achievement;– budget management experience;– high ethical standards; and– no more than three employers in the preceding six years.
