Maintenance Engineer

CSS Recruitment are looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Witham.

You will play a vital role in a small team to undertake preventative maintenance and repairs on machines based in their factory.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday
• 07:00 – 16:30

Duties

• Providing front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
• Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
• Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding
• Assist in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment
• Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works

Experience & Qualifications

You will have previously worked within a fast-paced production environment and possess the following skills and experience:

• Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC’s
• Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team
• You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as: Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382
• Knowledge and experience of PLC an advantage

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC
• 18th Edition maintenance engineering
• City & Guilds 2382
• Full clean driving licence

Salary

£35,000 per annum
