We’re looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Technical Engineer to join a growing enterprise data team where you’ll play a key role in designing, building and evolving modern data platforms.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to learn Databricks—you’ll be the technical expert from day one, helping shape the platform while mentoring other engineers.

What you’ll be doing

• Building enterprise-scale data platforms from the ground up
• Designing robust data pipelines using Databricks and SQL
• Working with modern Lakehouse/Data Lake architectures
• Delivering analytics and insight solutions that drive business decisions
• Improving platform performance, scalability and data quality
• Providing technical leadership within a highly skilled engineering team

What you’ll need

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks (essential)
• Expert SQL skills
• Experience building modern data platforms from scratch
• Knowledge of Data Lakes/Lakehouse architectures
• Power BI or similar reporting experience
• A passion for mentoring others and leading technically
• Experience with AI or advanced analytics is a real advantage

Security Clearance

Applicants should already hold SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain it (5 years’ continuous UK residency required).
